Lovely

Hello blog friends! We have had a bit of a breather at CSI, and I am rejuvenated and ready for a lot of creativity! How about you?

Here is the latest challenge over at CSI: Use all of the five colors, three of the clues, one (journaling) testimony and in some shape or fashion, use Em's sketch....what FUN! So, what I want to know is, "What will you do with it?"

Here, you can see some of the background I created. First, I stamped, then spritzed, and used a mask and some modeling paste for texture. I used a little bit of embossing powder in a few places.

You can see where I cut, folded, spritzed and inked paper into strips for a different background on this part of the layout ....... to differientiate the bottom from the top in the sketch.

Here, I painted some gesso on the flowers to get a light, airy feel.

The journaling reads, "What a lovely little girl you were, Elizabeth. From the very beginning, you have loved life, delighted in nature and been a ray of sunshine in our lives. Most importantly, you have loved the Lord."

By the way, I'd like to give a shout out to my sweet, dear and cherished friend, Shawn.... AKA: Poetry in a Pot of Tea, Micupoftea. She has recently posted on her blog after being on sabbatical due to the death of her mother. Please pop on over to her blog to welcome her back!

Thanks for stopping by....see you next time, sassy friends!
