What did You Accomplish Today?

Hello Friends! I'm back with a layout that I created for the CSI Design Team. The colors are so summery and I tried to keep the look of the LO a masculine one, for my son, on the right, in the photo.

How I solved this case:

Scheme: All five colors used
Evidence: Flowers, Animals, Triangles
Testimony: I chose, "What did you accomplish today?" from July Prompt

Here, you can see some of the background work I did: painting, stamping, stenciling and use of embellishments.

The Blue Fern Studio chipboards were perfect for a masculine layout!

These colors were so much fun to work with! They're almost as "hot" as our summer temps here in Texas! The heat index today is 105!

As always....gotta' have some 3-D and texture work! And, don't forget to check out how I painted the netting here

Happy

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a layout I created for the CSI Design Team.

Here is how I solved Case File 233:

Scheme: All five colors used
Evidence: Stripes, straws, flowers/leaves,
       watercolor, V shape
Testimony: I used the inspiration word, happiness

You can see my background work here: stamping, heat embossing, painting, and use of stencil/modeling paste for texture.

The straws were fun to use under the photo and some fussy cut pieces. I've had these straws forever in my stash, but never seemed to use them. I will be more open to using them in the future!

The journaling reads, "Happiness doesn't come cheap for Elizabeth. She has been collecting Christian Louboutoun shoes for years. They are so perfect for her, as she loves high heels because of her short frame.

All C.L.B.s have red soles...one of her favorite colors...just  a softer shade of red is her favorite color: pink.

Liz is one in a million and I hope she will always be happy, no matter what shoes she wears! "
