Hello Friends! I'm back with a layout that I created for the CSI Design Team. The colors are so summery and I tried to keep the look of the LO a masculine one, for my son, on the right, in the photo. |
How I solved this case: Scheme: All five colors used Evidence: Flowers, Animals, Triangles Testimony: I chose, "What did you accomplish today?" from July Prompt. |
Here, you can see some of the background work I did: painting, stamping, stenciling and use of embellishments. |
The Blue Fern Studio chipboards were perfect for a masculine layout! |
These colors were so much fun to work with! They're almost as "hot" as our summer temps here in Texas! The heat index today is 105! |
As always....gotta' have some 3-D and texture work! And, don't forget to check out how I painted the netting here. |
The journaling reads, "Lee won his disc golf tournament today, competing in the amateur division with a prize of $175.00. His friends, Connor and Brandon also competed. What a fun accomplishment it was!"
Thanks, everyone, for stopping by! See you next time!
I like the gears and netting, Patty! Great central design and fun mm work, too! :)

DeleteHi Patty, how beautiful is that layout ! Wow, just wow. I love how you worked with the challenge colours, especially the orange and turquoise. That painted netting is so neat. Thank for for sharing that video, and way to think outside the box by transforming an household item into something you can use on your page. I bet the photo doesn't do your page justice. The texture must be even nicer up close. Love your work, Patti. TFS. ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout! Love the leaves and the mixed media background!
ReplyDeleteThank you Techno Archiver!!!! What a delight to know that some people were looking at my work even though the blogger is officially head of the Blog! Big Hugs! ....Patty
