True Love with Blue Fern Studios

Hello scrappy friends! Today I'm sharing my latest layout, using my favorite line of products....Blue Fern Studios. There is hardly a BFS product that I haven't tried and enjoyed using.

This is an off week at Color Stories Inspiration, so I decided to work on the August challenge at Blue Fern Studio. If you are interested in participating in the challenge, you can follow the link here to read about it more thoroughly.

This window was fun to prepare. I used two colors of embossing powder. Then,  using a clear transparency, alcohol inks, blending solution and tool, I  created a pretty stained glass look to place behind the window.

Stamping and heat embossing are always number one on my list for a pretty background. I always add more color using water colors or sprays and finish things off with modeling paste and a stencil for an even greater degree of texture.

I enjoyed adding the heat embossed birdcage with it peeking out from behind the top layers of paper!
