A Walk on the Beach

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a layout for the CSI Design Team and a little news. If you have not been to CSI, and think you might want to join in on all the fun of doing challenges, go HERE and HERE. Just FYI: It's addictive! 

Here is how I solved Case File #223: 

Scheme: Used all five colors
Evidence: stripes, trees, something curly, distressing
Testimony: I wrote my story in the form of an invitation

And now for a little news.....I am learning to create videos....yea! It's not as difficult as I thought it might be....huge sigh of relief. The year I retired from teaching, I took a continuing education class on making videos, but never did actually make any on my own.  I thought you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But that's not true. Doing something outside of one's comfort zone keeps us young! Below, is a link to my first two videos. I almost always use dimension as a technique in my layouts, and loved popping the little sailor up here.

Last but never least is my journaling written as an invitation. I almost always glue a library pocket to the back of the layout close to the top and place the journaling inside the pocket. The occasion was
the wedding of Lee's girlfriend in the Dominican Republic.
