Dream

Hello fellow scrapbookers! I hope you are all enjoying some pretty spring weather if you live in the northern hemisphere! In Texas, we have had some beautiful weather this week and I can hardly wait to get in my garden, but that will have to saved for another day, because I am in a "Happy Scrappy Mood".

Today, I am sharing a layout that I created for CSI....Color Stories, Inspiration using the beautiful Heartland Collection from Blue Fern Studios. Scroll down to see how I solved this case and enjoy all the close up photos I took.

Here is how I solved it:

Scheme: All five colors used
Evidence: stripes, circles, diamond shapes, keys Testimony: I used the word dream in my journaling and on the layout.

You can see here where I popped up the little cluster of paper flowers to get some dimension.

More dimension and texture on the background using a stencil and modeling paste always adds interest!

For even more texture, I ran the banners through my crimping tool, then splattered them with paint. The background also has paint spatters.

Layering, layering and MORE layering here, as well as distressing and heat embossing.

    1. Thanks, Shawn! I can't take credit for the bicycle, though. The paper came like that, and I love it too! Big hugs to YOU!
