Hello friends! I have a very special layout for you today that I created for the CSI Design Team. The reason it is special is because it is about a bond between granddaughter and grandmother. This relationship has brought both of these women a lot of happiness. |
Here is how I solved Case File 226: Scheme: All five colors used Evidence: string, bows, bugs, hearts, plants Testimony: Write about what makes you happy |
I adored this little fan from Montage Calling Cards by Blue Fern Studios. The words at the top of the fan say it all, "Love crown your Way". |
As always, there has to be texture in my layouts! |
Dimension is also a must! |
Doesn't the use of cheese cloth add feathery softness? I always add a few paint spatters, too. |
Such a sweet page full of treasured memories!! <3 <3
ReplyDeleteThank you Shawn for your kind words. You always know just what to say.....yes, they are treasures, for sure!
ReplyDeletegreat picture and of course, I love how you showcase everything...your layers inspire me!
ReplyDeleteHiya Kate! I haven't seen you in a while.....hope you and your family are all doing well. Thanks for your sweet comments. Big hugs!
DeleteHi Patty,
ReplyDeleteYou've managed to create another beautiful layout. I love how you added the extra layer of paper over the background one, and left an opening to reveal the sweet photo and the pretty details around it. I also love the fussy cut flowers hanging from the ribbon, and the letter tucked into the flowers up in the corner. You're right about the cheese cloth; it's a great way to add softness and texture to the background.
Have you ever thought of making a YouTube tutorial? I would love to see your scrapbooking process, especially how you go about creating all of that textured background. ♥♥♥
Hi Jacynthe,
DeleteYou always leave the most thoughtful comments, and I appreciate every one of them!
I have actually made two videos....it is really more like one and a half. Am planning to make more, but what a learning curve!
Here's the link to the first (imperfect) one I made:
