Mrs. California Sunshine

It was a real treat to work with two lovely product lines at THE CRAFTY SCRAPPER. The paper is called "Et Cetera" by BO BUNNY and most of the adorable embellishments are by MAYA ROAD. The bright and  sunny "Small Organza Roses Ribbon" in yellow was the centerpiece for this design and the colors were worked around this sweet, sweet ribbon. Other Maya Road products include the "Noah Mini Alphabet Chipboard Set", "Winter Roses Houndstooth Licorice" flower, and a "Wood Mini Spool". The black paint used for the title and the Scrap FX chipboard set of clock hands is by Making Memories.

Techniques used in this layout are paper punching, rolling, pleating, inking and machine stitching.

The layout is in honor of a wonderful friend of mine who lives in California. We have so very much in common, and although we've never met in person, we are sisters of the heart! Scrapbooking brought us together!

  4. Kay is right! This IS a nice tribute!! You are just the sweetest! I really like the quote and C.S. Lewis is such a favorite of mine. The punching and ruffling looks great and I love the dimension of the B&W flower. You add such warmth, affection and detail to whatever you create! Love it :)
