TUTORIAL: HOW TO CREATE A LEATHER LOOK

Supplies needed: 

     Brown paper grocery bag 

     Scissors

     Spray bottle filled with water

     Brown ink

1. Cut bag into two large pieces to be used one at a time. 

2. Spritz water over entire piece of paper bag.

3. Crumple bag into a ball. 

4. Smooth out paper. 

5. Repeat steps 2-4, ten to fifteen times.

6. Allow paper to dry flat. A heat embosser or hair dryer may be used to speed up this step. 

 I used Ranger Ink, Tea Dye, and the color  was perfect for achieving the desired look. 

6. Sweep the ink across the paper from side to side. 

 Continue in this manner until the entire piece of paper has been inked.
