Love You Forever

Today, I'm sharing a layout that I created for The Crafty Scrapper design team. When I photographed the layout it was a dreary winter day, so the paper looks blue, but it actually is white. Products used here are Elle's Studio, Everyday Moments Collection paper, Heidi Swapp Color Shine, Maya Road Embellies, Memento Ink, Modeling Paste, Prima Mask, Ranger paint and ink.

Texture and dimension add a richness to scrapbooking and I love to use both. Here, I used a mask and modeling paste to add dimension. The white modeling paste can be tinted with whatever color of water based paint you choose, or you can leave it white. Here, after the tinted modeling paste dried, I got out my  Basic Grey files and took a little of the color off to give a bit of a shabby look to the piece. Don't you think that is appropriate on a layout about a couple that's been married almost forty years? LOL!

In the pictures above and below, you can see where I spritzed the bottom layer of paper, then took the top off the bottle and flung the paint onto the paper to achieve larger spots. What fun!

And yes, 39+ years is turning into forever.

Thanks for your comments. They are always appreciated!
