Oh Snap!

Greetings everyone! I am trying to get back into the swing of things here. After experiencing some health issues lately, and going through a major problem with our home, I have finally been able to get back to scrapbooking. I think that having to move almost everything in my scrapbook room to repair the slab leak has been harder on me than my health issues! A scrapbooking girl has got to scrap, you know?!!! Tempoirarily, I have set up a makeshift scrapping area in our kitchen. I cannot complain, though....it is better than not being able to scrapbook at all!

OK....my problems aside.....About a month ago, Liz and I spent the day together and we decided to play a little joke on my husband/her dad. He unwinds at the end of the day by doing a crossword puzzle.....his favorite part of the paper.
Over at CSI our sponsors this month,  are Dusty Attic, Creative Embellishments, and Lindy's Stamp Gang.  Be sure to stop by and play along for a chance to win some great prizes!

Back to the layout now, the little joke we played on my husband/Liz's dad was to cut out the crossword puzzle from the paper before he got home. We pulled it off without a hitch. Dad was totally unsuspecting, and I got some wonderful photos too! Tee, hee, hee!!!

Products used:

Blue Fern Studios chipboard
BoBunnye paper
Maya Road chipboard and twine
Prima flowers and ink
Tim Holtz diecut
From my stash:
     background paper
     stencil
     blue flower
     button
     number stickers
     chipboard

Techniques used for this layout include inking, painting, fussy cutting, 3-D work, stenciling and diecutting.

  2. HI! Hmmm, I thought for sure I had left a comment on this fabulous page! Great job, as usual. You are so talented. Love the film strip as a journaling spot- and the numbered sequence. Fun topic, nice humor. The texture is wonderful. xo
