Darling

Happy Spring to all of my friends and family! Here is my latest layout for the CSI design team. It is of a photo taken when our children were small; the journaling is about my husband. I am entering this in the Blue Fern Studio March challenge. Fingers crossed...there are a lot of participants.

It seems that it has been forever since I posted my scrapbooking work, but there is a reason.  Spring has sprung and I have been very busy with   my second favorite hobby....gardening. Everywhere you can see little splashes of green and we also have a few plants blooming already!

Here is the view from one of my garden benches. I feel very relaxed when I sit there with the soft shades of late afternoon, long shadows and warm breezes. My chimes play beautiful melodies to give a complete package of delight for the senses!
Here is a new plant in my garden this spring:                               Camellia japonica!

Here is our family portrait taken on Easter Sunday. Now, back to my favorite hobby....
At CSI we are enjoying some spring colors and wonderful journaling prompts. You should come and play along with us. You won't be sorry! We have quite a few prizes for challenge winners. Follow the link above to see what it is all about. We would love to have you join in all the fun!

  1. What a lovely layout. Love the way the chipboard pieces accent the layout and photo. Thanks for joining us at Blue Fern Studios for our sketch challenge this month.

  2. Wonderful group photo...looks like a blessed Easter for you and your family. Your backyard is inviting, pretty and so nice and big compared to those in So. California. I'm envious! I think you will really enjoy the Camellia- we have two varieties and I always look forward to their lush blooms every winter when most of the other flowering plants are without flowers. <3
